Supremacy Struggle

You know,

I’m interested and excited by art as a concept and as a tool of communicating fundamental human truths. And, I’m interested in art that speaks about real issues like poverty and world health. I’m interested in how art is very much a transparent lens that you can view a person though…and I’m learning a lot about myself as I get older and I look at the work I’m making. I think I have a lot to share but what is making me totally nuts is the thing that makes me excited and giddy when I draw tends to be fashion.

I love fashion, but I hate the culture surrounding modern fashion. So, I feel very frivolous and guilty when all I want to draw is huge hairdos and gigantic froofy dresses. Even weirder, my personal aesthetic taste for art is nothing like the work I make.
